Calendar of Events

For the last two months you probably wondered what happened to Wayne.  Wayne was busy redesigning this website and building databases that shall be released later this year.

Highlights

  • Board of Election Commissioners
Submitted Freedom of Information Act request
The request for data was submitted exactly one month after the election of February 5, 2008.  We figured that one month afterwards would allow the Board enough time to "get a grip" on the information and then prepare for the next election.  Apparently two months later, the Board still has not replied to the FOIA other than to mention they need more time.
  • New website makes its debut
Two months of work yields fantastic results
Shortly after the election our system crashed so it was decided that the time is ripe to redo the entire website, incorporating a portal for knowledge based information, alternative health, political corruption and public education.  It is quite a humongous task that Wayne took upon himself but he feels that the community is well worth the investment of his time.

Upcoming Events

  • Wayne might have to take the Board of Election Commissioners to court
Growing up in one of the most turbulent times this country faced, Wayne fought for the Freedom of Information Act because at the time, government was unwilling to let anything known about the data they were keeping on people.  He marched on Washington D.C. with thousands of other students as well as Springfield, Illinois. He also fought for the Open Meetings Act, which in essence was suppose to allow the community to record or video tape every meeting that was conducted or attended by political figures or even remotely involved taxpayers money.  These issues must again be revisited, as they say in legal terms.

Highlights...

  • FOIA given to Board of Election Commissioners.  We still await reply.
  • Court proceedings might be necessary to stop the Boards unwillingness to comply with the release of information.
  • Presumably the Board will deny our request for the Absentee Ballot Applications, as they recently did after the February 27, 2007 election.  Question becomes not only what do they have to hide, but further, they deny the public the tool needed to make sure that the election is run in a fair manner, as is so stated in the Constitution of the State of Illinois.  The check and balance that was in place has now been disguised in what we shall now call the Absentee Ballot Coverup.
